Help fixing a Marathon Navigator watch – The Military Watch Resource – Community Fora -

I’m a watch newb and need some help. My 1 yr old Marathon navigator has been off the wrist for a while because the minute hand somehow got loose and is now dangling i.e. when I pull the adjustment knob and turn, only the hour hand turns.

Can someone please tell me how I can fix this? Do I need any special tools for this job?

Also, as you can see, the tritium tube from the hour hand has been displaced. Is it it easy to put in back on?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

the 41mm SMP looks bigger than the 42mm PO, its an illusion.

here is the secret, the bezel on the SMP is 1mm larger than the one on the PO, making the SMP looks bigger.

so if you want a really bigger watch than the classic SMP, you better look at the 45mm PO.

Hey guys I am new so go easy on me. My wife gave me an Anniversary edition Submariner the other night for our anniversary. I have been reading these forums and have learned about the new type clasp and being that it is my least favorite thing about the Submariner bracelet, my question is can I have the improved clasp put on this watch? Would that be a negative to the watche’s value if I needed or decided to sell? Thanks for your help and this is a really great forum.

Hi all – Can you tell me anything about this watch?

Hi everybody – I’m new here. My name is Dan and I’m from Birmingham UK.

A long time ago I was left a watch by my Grandad. He was in the RAF and I believe he bought the watch abroad.

Anyway, I was hoping that somebody on here might be able to tell me something about it? I’d love to learn more.

I have never seen another Omega with a box like this – it’s leather with a suede inner. It’s probably pretty common to you guys though. Also most other vintage pie-pan (hope I got that right) omegas seem to have a 3 o clock date too and this one doesn’t.

I’d appreciate any feedback on the watch, and an estimate of worth as I want to name it on my home insurance policy.
